Love of Lesbian

Love of Lesbian began their musical history at the turn of the century, starting to play in the autumn of 1997.

Throughout their first decade, they released their first albums, building their own identity that made them a unique band in their environment and a point of reference for many in the current indie music scene. Since then, they have toured Spain and Latin America successfully and have been nominated for and won numerous renowned awards.

At 1001 Músicas we have had the honour of listening to the long-awaited follow-up to El poeta Halley, an album called V.E.H.N. (Viaje épico hacia la nada). Undoubtedly another great success in the already consolidated career of this group.

Lori Meyers

Lori Meyers is a Spanish indie pop-rock band. They got together when they were just 16 years old and started playing songs with influences ranging from Spanish and British pop from the 60’s to American rock from the 90’s, but it wasn’t until 2004 that they released their first album Viaje de Estudios.

Since then, their musical importance in the indie scene in Spain has been recognised by the specialised critics.

At the 1001 Músicas festival we have heard a preview of their first album in four years, Punk, which combines urgency, melody and biting in three minutes.

Loquillo

José María Sanz Beltrán, also known by his stage name Loquillo or Loco, is the personification of the Spanish rock star. Until mid-2007, he was accompanied by the band Los Trogloditas.

An imposing-looking tough guy, he is much more than a regular rock and roll singer. His aesthetic combines the leather of a neighbourhood punk with the dandy of an impeccably suit and gangster hat. He can be considered a cross-cutting icon, a stranger to fashions and a survivor of trends.

Loquillo is back, crazier than ever, with his latest album El Último Clásico, looking to the future without losing his roots.

Rozalén

Rozalén is one of the main voices of the new singer-songwriter. She is one of the most successful live artists, as well as an important social activist, defending the rights of minorities and disadvantaged communities with her music.

On stage, she is always accompanied by Beatriz Romero, a sign language interpreter, thus defending an inclusive show aimed at everyone.

Rozalén returns to the stages of Granada in 1001 Músicas to present with her band El árbol y el bosque, her fourth studio album.
